MULTIPHASE FLOW METER
Pietro Fiorentini Multiphase and Wet Gas Flow Meters are non-intrusive, inline systems providing real time measurement of oil, water and gas flow rates in the dispersed phase of the flow avoiding the use of large systems based on phase separation.

HIPPS (High Integrity Pressure Protection Systems)
are specific application of Safety Instrumented System (SIS). The purpose of HIPPS is to protect downstream equipment against overpressure or upset conditions coming from the upstream. The protection against over-pressure is obtained by quickly isolating the source causing the overpressure. HIPPS package consists of: Initiators, Logic solver and Final Element. The initiators are field sensors to detect the hazardous condition. The logic solver accepts these inputs and drives the final elements to isolate the hazardous overpressure condition. Pietro Fiorentini HIPPS are IEC 61508 and SIL 3 certified. HIPPS safety systems are used in the oil & gas industries in order to provide pressure protection of pipelines, piping, vessels and process packages against over pressure.
